Charts, panchang and numbers, worked out in your browser
These free astrology tools are built on one astronomy engine that runs on your device and is checked against published ephemerides and panchangs, so the positions behind every chart are accurate even though astrology itself is a matter of tradition rather than science. The birth chart calculator draws a Western natal wheel with houses and aspects, the kundli generator draws North and South Indian charts with Lahiri positions, navamsa and dasha balance, and the kundli matching page scores the eight kootas out of 36. The sun, moon and rising calculator, lagna calculator, rashi calculator, nakshatra finder and planet sign calculator answer the single questions people ask most.
For daily timings, panchang today lists tithi, nakshatra, yoga and karana with end times for your city, and rahu kaal today, choghadiya, hora / planetary hours, Gowri panchangam and Brahma muhurta give the traditional good and bad periods. The muhurat finder shortlists dates with every rule shown, the Ekadashi dates page lists fasting days for the year, and the Hindu calendar converter handles Vikram Samvat, Shaka and adhik maas.
Numerology needs only your name and date of birth. Start with the numerology chart, which gathers every core number, or go straight to the life path number, name numerology in Pythagorean and Chaldean systems, mulank and bhagyank, Lo Shu grid, mobile number numerology or angel number meanings.
Matching, doshas and cycles
- Doshas. The mangal dosha, Kaal Sarp dosh and Sade Sati pages show exactly which rule applies and how common the pattern is, in neutral words and with no remedies for sale.
- Periods and returns. The Vimshottari dasha calculator lays out mahadasha and antardasha dates, and the Saturn return calculator finds each pass over your natal Saturn.
- Compatibility. The synastry and composite chart, zodiac compatibility and numerology compatibility pages explain how every score is worked out.
- Other traditions. The Four Pillars (BaZi) calculator, Kua number and tarot card reading cover Chinese and Western practices, and the baby name letters page suggests names by nakshatra.
How to read the results
- Tradition, not prediction. Every page says plainly that its results are for tradition and entertainment, not prediction or advice. Use them for curiosity, culture and ceremony, not for health, money or marriage decisions.
- Birth time matters. The Moon changes nakshatra about once a day and the ascendant every two hours, so pages warn when your result sits near a boundary or when no birth time is given.
Astrology & Numerology: frequently asked questions
Are these astrology tools free?
Yes. Every tool is free, needs no sign-up and runs in your browser, so your birth details never leave your device.
How accurate are the planet positions?
The engine uses published astronomical algorithms and is checked in automated tests against Swiss Ephemeris, NASA JPL, published birth charts and a widely used online panchang. Sun and Moon positions agree within about a minute of arc and panchang times within about two minutes.
Which ayanamsa do the Vedic tools use?
Lahiri (Chitrapaksha), as defined by the Indian Calendar Reform Committee and used by most Indian almanacs. Some almanacs use a slightly different value, so times near a boundary can differ by a few minutes.
Is astrology scientifically proven?
No. Controlled studies have not found that astrological signs or charts predict personality or events. These tools calculate the traditional quantities accurately and present them as culture and entertainment.
Do you sell gemstones or remedies?
No. The site recommends no paid remedies and links to no shops. Gemstone and dosha pages describe the tradition only.
