Lucky colours are a cultural tradition, and the traditions disagree — this page shows several lists side by side rather than one “right” answer. They are for tradition and entertainment, not prediction or advice; no colour changes your luck. Hex codes are representative screen shades chosen for this page. Lucky colour finder: the lucky color for today, your mulank and your sign

This free lucky colour finder brings together the three tables people usually look up separately: the lucky color for today from the planet that rules the weekday, the colours for your mulank (the number of the day you were born), and the colours linked to your zodiac sign. Every colour is shown as a swatch with a hex code, so you can match it to clothes, a phone wallpaper or a design.

Traditions do not agree on lucky colours, and this page does not pretend they do. It names the source of each list — the planetary week of Indian astrology, Cheiro’s numerology, and the Western sign lists — and shows them side by side. Treat the result as a cultural tradition for fun: it is for tradition and entertainment, not prediction or advice.

How to use the Lucky Colour Finder

  1. Enter your Date of birth; it gives your mulank and your sun sign.
  2. Leave Date to look at on the example, pick a date, or press Use today’s date for today’s colour.
  3. Keep Zodiac sign on “From my date of birth”, or choose your sign — for example your Vedic moon sign (rashi).
  4. Read the colour of the day, the weekly strip and the mulank and zodiac swatches.
  5. Press Copy colours to keep the lists with their hex codes.

Lucky colour for each day of the week

In the planetary week each day belongs to a planet, and Indian astrology links each planet with colours. Lists vary between sources — Sunday and Friday most of all — so the table gives the colour most lists agree on first. The classical Parashara Hora Shastra (chapter 3) assigns garment colours that differ again; this is a living folk practice rather than a fixed rule.

Lucky colour by mulank

Your mulank is the day of the month you were born reduced to one digit — the 21st gives 2 + 1 = 3. The colours below follow Cheiro’s Book of Numbers (1926), chapter “The Affinity of Colours and Numbers”, which many Indian numerology books repeat. Many Indian practitioners instead use the colours of the number’s planet — Jupiter’s yellow for 3, for example — so the page shows both. For your numbers themselves, see the mulank and bhagyank calculator.

Lucky colour by zodiac sign

Western sign colours are not standardised, and different lists give different answers; this page uses one common set and adds the colours of the sign’s ruling planet, as Vedic astrology would. Vedic astrology usually reads the moon sign (rashi), which you can find with the rashi calculator, while the default here is your Western sun sign from the zodiac sign calculator date ranges. On a cusp birthday the sign can change by a day from year to year.

Lucky Colour Finder FAQ

What is my lucky color for today?

Press Use today’s date. The lucky colour finder shows the colours traditionally linked to today’s weekday planet — for example white for Monday and yellow for Thursday.

What is the lucky colour to wear on Thursday?

Thursday belongs to Jupiter, and the usual colours are yellow, gold and saffron.

What is the lucky colour for mulank 3?

Cheiro gives mauve, violet and lilac, with blue, crimson and rose as secondary colours. Lists based on the planet give Jupiter’s yellow instead.

What is the lucky color for 2026?

2 + 0 + 2 + 6 = 10 → 1, so numerologists call 2026 a universal year 1, and Cheiro’s colours for 1 are gold, yellow and bronze. Your personal colours come from your own birth date.

Why do different websites give different lucky colours?

Because they follow different traditions — planetary weekday colours, Cheiro’s numerology, planet colours or Western sign lists. This page labels each one.

Can wearing a lucky colour change my luck?

No evidence says so. Enjoy it as a tradition or a way to choose an outfit; it is not prediction or advice.
