Personal year number calculator with month and day
In numerology your personal year is the number of the year you are living through, repeating in a nine-year cycle. This free personal year number calculator works it out from your birth month, your birth day and any year you choose, then adds the personal month and personal day for a date, a seven-day strip, a twelve-month table and the next nine years.
The working is printed so you can check it, and you can switch the year to start on your birthday instead of 1 January. Numerology is a cultural tradition, not a forecast: this page is for tradition and entertainment, not prediction or advice.

How the personal year, month and day are worked out
Personal year = birth month + birth day + the year, each reduced to one digit first. For someone born on 15 August, in 2026: 8 + (1 + 5 = 6) + (2 + 0 + 2 + 6 = 10 → 1) = 15 → 6. Personal month adds the calendar month to the personal year: October is 10 → 1, so 6 + 1 = 7. Personal day adds the calendar day to the personal month: the 19th is 1 + 9 = 10 → 1, so 7 + 1 = 8.
When a sum reaches 11 or 22 the page shows it as a master number (for example 22/4) and continues with the single digit, which is how most calendars of personal days are built. Some authors keep the master number all the way through; the results then differ for a few dates.
When does the year change?
Most Western books change your personal year on 1 January, so everyone with the same birthday shares a year number. Others start the year on your birthday, so a date before your birthday still belongs to the previous year. This calculator offers both because authors disagree; the default is 1 January.

Personal Year Number Calculator FAQ
What is my personal year number this year?
Press Use today’s date (or pick any date), and the page shows it. For example, someone born on 15 August is in personal year 6 in 2026 under the 1 January rule.
What does a personal year 4 in 2026 mean?
It is calculated by birth month + birth day + 2026 (which reduces to 1). Books describe a 4 year as one for building and steady work. Enter your birth date to see whether you are in one.
How do I find my personal day number?
Add the calendar day (reduced) to your personal month number and reduce. The page does this for the date you pick and the next six days.
Does my personal year start on January 1 or my birthday?
Both conventions exist. The default is 1 January; switch the option to see the birthday version.
Is the nine-year cycle real?
It is a numerology convention, not an observed pattern. Treat it as a way to reflect on a year, not to plan one.
Is my birth date stored?
No. Everything is calculated in your browser.
