A printable weekly planner for any week, in two layouts
Plan the week on paper with this weekly planner printable. Choose a single landscape page with seven day columns and a strip of goals, to-do and notes along the bottom, or a two-page spread with four days on the first page and three days plus the blocks on the second — the format used by most paper diaries. Pick a Monday or Sunday start, type any date to fill in the real dates for that week (with the ISO week number), or leave the date empty for an undated planner you can reuse.
For school there is a third layout, a homework planner: your subjects down the side and the school days across, with a list of assignments and tests underneath that has columns for the subject, due date, priority (H, M, L) and a done box. Weekends can be shaded, each day can be ruled, dotted or blank, and the accent colour is yours to choose. The sheet prints directly from the page at 100%, or downloads as a compact vector PDF or a PNG, drawn entirely in your browser.
How to use the Weekly Planner Printable
- Choose the layout: seven columns on one page (best in landscape), the two-page spread (best in portrait) or the homework planner — then type your subjects, one per line.
- Set the week start (Monday or Sunday) and enter any date inside the week you want — the planner works out Monday to Sunday and the week number. Clear the date for an undated version.
- Tick the blocks you want (goals, to-do with checkboxes, notes), choose ruled, dotted or blank days, and whether weekends are shaded.
- Pick an accent colour, the paper size and orientation.
- Press Print planner or download the PDF or PNG. The two-page layout produces a two-page PDF — print it double-sided for a spread.

Which weekly planner layout should you print?
| Layout | Paper | Space per day | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|

| Seven columns | A5 landscape | Small column | Compact personal planners; use the blank fill and a fine pen |
| Two-page spread | A4 / Letter portrait | A full-width row (~55 mm tall) | Detailed daily lists, students, meal and exercise notes — print double-sided |
| Two-page spread | A5 portrait | Full-width row (~40 mm) | Ring-bound personal diaries and travellers’ notebooks |
| Homework planner | A4 / Letter landscape | One cell per subject per day | Students, parents and teachers tracking homework and test dates |
How the dates and week numbers are worked out
Type any date and the planner finds the first day of that week — the previous Monday (or Sunday) — and fills in the seven dates. The label shows the range in the form “2 – 8 March 2026”, or “28 Dec – 3 Jan 2027” when the week crosses a month or year. The week number follows ISO 8601: weeks start on Monday and week 1 is the week containing the first Thursday of the year, so a few days at the start or end of a year can belong to week 52 or 53 of the neighbouring year. When you choose a Sunday start, the number shown is the ISO week of the Monday within that week, which matches what most calendars display. You can check any date with the week number calculator.
For a monthly view, print the calendar generator; for a page per day use the daily planner; and for routines across the month, the habit tracker.
Weekly Planner Printable FAQ
Can I make an undated weekly planner?
Yes. Clear the date field and the header shows “Week of ____”, the day columns show only the weekday names, and you can print as many copies as you like.
Does the weekly planner start on Monday or Sunday?
Either. Choose the start day; the columns and dates re-order and the week number is still calculated to the ISO 8601 standard.
How do I print the two-page spread double-sided?
Download the PDF and print it with the duplex option set to “flip on long edge”. Page 1 (Monday to Thursday) and page 2 (Friday to Sunday plus blocks) then sit on the front and back of one sheet, or across a spread in a folded booklet.
Can I remove the goals and notes blocks?
Yes. Untick any of the three blocks; the day columns or rows grow to use the space.
Which paper sizes are available?
A4, US Letter, A5 and US Legal, in portrait or landscape. Seven columns look best in landscape, the two-page spread in portrait.
How do I make a homework planner for kids?
Choose the homework planner layout, type the child’s subjects (or leave them blank to write in), pick a colour and print one copy a week. Younger children can tick the done box and colour the priority circle; for an online list with reminders use the to-do list.
Is anything uploaded or stored?
No. The planner is drawn by JavaScript in your browser; the PDF and PNG are generated locally and nothing is saved on a server.
