A printable daily planner that fits the way you work

This daily planner printable gives you a dated page with an hourly schedule on the left and everything else on the right: your top three priorities, a to-do checklist, meals, a water tracker, a gratitude box and notes. Set the hours you actually work — 6:00 to 21:00, 9 to 5, or a night shift — choose 15-, 30- or 60-minute slots, pick 12- or 24-hour times, and switch between colour accents and a minimal black-and-white look that is cheap to print.

The date header is filled in automatically (“Monday, 2 March 2026”) or left blank for a planner you can photocopy. Everything is laid out in millimetres on A4, Letter, A5 or Legal paper, so it prints cleanly at 100% and lines up in a binder or a disc-bound notebook. Print it directly, or download a vector PDF or PNG — all generated in your browser.

How to use the Daily Planner Printable

  1. Pick the date (or clear it for an undated page) and give the planner a title.
  2. Set when the schedule starts and ends and whether you want hourly, 30-minute or 15-minute slots, in 12- or 24-hour format.
  3. Tick the blocks you want on the right: top 3 priorities, to-do list (3–15 lines), meals, water tracker, notes and gratitude / wins.
  4. Choose colour accents or the minimal style, the accent colour, and your paper size and orientation.
  5. Press Print planner, or download the PDF or PNG. For a week of pages, print the PDF several times or change the date each time.

Daily Planner Printable features

Your hours, your slots

Any start and end time from midnight to midnight, in 15, 30 or 60-minute rows, with hour lines emphasised and sub-slots dashed.

Six optional blocks

Priorities, to-do, meals, water, gratitude and notes — the notes box grows to fill whatever space is left.

Dated or undated

A full written date in the header (weekday, day, month, year) or a blank “Date:” line for copies.

Colour or minimal

A tinted header and block titles in your accent colour, or plain black-and-white for toner-friendly printing.

Four paper sizes

A4, US Letter, A5 and Legal in portrait or landscape; the layout rescales to the page.

Vector output

The PDF is drawn as lines and text, so it stays sharp and is only a few kilobytes.

Using the planner for time blocking

Time blocking means deciding in advance which task each slot belongs to, rather than working from an open list. Fill the three priorities first, then block the schedule: give each priority a slot early in the day while attention is fresh, put meetings and routine work around them, and keep one empty slot for the unexpected. Tick the to-do boxes as you go and use the notes box for anything that arrives during the day so it does not interrupt the plan. At the end of the day, the water circles and the gratitude box take a minute to complete and make the page worth keeping.

  • Deep-work days: 60-minute slots from 8:00 to 18:00, priorities and notes only.
  • Busy admin days: 30-minute slots, a 12-line to-do list and meals so lunch is not skipped.
  • Students: slots matching the timetable (15-minute rows for short periods), to-do for homework, gratitude box for wins.
  • Shift workers: set the schedule to 14:00–23:00 or 22:00–7:00 the next morning by choosing a late start and 24:00 as the end.

Printing a whole week or month

The planner is one dated page. To prepare a batch, change the date and download each PDF, or print one undated page and write the dates by hand. For an overview of the week use the weekly planner, track routines with the habit tracker, and plan food with the meal planner; all three use the same paper sizes and margins so they sit together in a binder. Print at 100% / Actual size; if you use a half-size planner, choose A5 and the layout scales down with slightly smaller type.

Daily Planner Printable FAQ

Can I change the hours on the daily planner?

Yes. Choose any start time from 00:00 and any end time up to 24:00, and pick hourly, 30-minute or 15-minute rows. The row height adjusts so the schedule fits the page.

How do I make an undated daily planner?

Clear the Date field. The header then shows a blank “Date:” line, and you can print one copy and photocopy it, or print a multi-page run from the PDF.

Does it print in black and white?

Choose the Minimal style for a pure black-and-white page. The colour style uses a light tint for the header and block titles, which also prints fine on a mono printer.

What is in the water tracker?

Eight circles — one per glass of about 250 ml, roughly two litres a day. Colour them in as you drink.

Which size suits a personal binder?

A5 fits most personal-size ring binders and disc-bound notebooks; A4 or Letter suits desk pads and full-size binders. Set the orientation to landscape for a wider schedule column.

Is my planner data stored anywhere?

No. The date, title and options are only used in your browser to draw the page; nothing is uploaded or saved.
