Delete pages from a PDF in a few taps
Blank pages from a duplex scan, an advert in the middle of a report, the terms and conditions nobody needs to print — the Delete PDF Pages tool removes them and saves a clean copy of your PDF. You see a preview of every page, so you can be sure you are deleting the right ones.
Mark pages by tapping their previews or by typing page numbers and ranges such as 2, 5-7, last. Both stay in sync, so you can type a range and then tap a few extra pages. Quick buttons select all odd or all even pages in one go.
The PDF is processed by your browser and never uploaded, and your original file is never changed — you download a new copy without the deleted pages.
How to delete pages from a PDF
- Drop your PDF onto the upload area or click to choose it. Previews of all pages appear.
- Tap each page you want to remove. Marked pages turn red with a bin icon; tap again to keep them.
- Or type page numbers in “Pages to delete”, for example
1, 4-6, last, or use “Odd pages” and “Even pages”. - Check the counter: it shows how many pages are marked and how many will remain.
- Press “Delete pages”, then “Download PDF” to save the new file.
Delete PDF Pages features
Visual selection
Real page previews make it easy to spot blank, duplicate or wrong pages before you remove them.
Type or tap
Page ranges and taps are kept in sync, so you can use whichever is quicker — or both.
Odd and even shortcuts
Select every odd or every even page in one tap, ideal for removing the blank backs of a single-sided scan done in duplex mode.
Safety check
You cannot accidentally delete every page; the tool asks you to keep at least one.
Smaller files
The new PDF is rebuilt from the remaining pages only, so images and fonts used only on deleted pages are dropped and the file usually gets smaller.
Private
Everything runs on your device. Nothing is uploaded, and the original file stays untouched.
Typing page numbers and ranges
Separate pages with commas. A hyphen makes a range, so 5-7 means pages 5, 6 and 7. Leave the end open to go to the last page (10-), or use the word last. Page numbers are positions in the file, starting at 1 — they may differ from numbers printed on the pages if the document has a cover or front matter.
| You type | Pages deleted (in a 12-page PDF) |
|---|---|
1 | The first page only |
2, 5-7 | Pages 2, 5, 6 and 7 |
10- | Pages 10, 11 and 12 |
last | Page 12 |
| Even pages button | Pages 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 |
Tips for removing pages cleanly
- Duplex scans with blank backs: scroll through the previews and tap the blank pages. If every second page is blank, use “Even pages” instead.
- Keep only a few pages? It is often easier to pick the pages you want with Extract PDF Pages than to mark everything else.
- Pages in the wrong order or sideways? Organize PDF lets you delete, reorder and rotate pages together, and Rotate PDF fixes orientation.
- Need the removed pages too? Use Split PDF to save them as separate files instead of discarding them.
What happens to bookmarks and forms
The new PDF is built from the pages you keep, together with the document title and author. Page content, comments and web links on the remaining pages are preserved. Document-wide extras such as the bookmark panel and fillable form logic are not carried over, because they may point to pages that no longer exist.
Delete PDF Pages FAQ
How do I delete pages from a PDF for free?
Add the PDF, tap the pages you want to remove (or type their numbers), press “Delete pages” and download the new file. It is free, with no sign-up or watermark.
Can I delete pages from a PDF without Adobe Acrobat?
Yes. This tool runs in any modern browser on Windows, Mac, Linux, Android and iPhone, with nothing to install.
How do I delete several pages at once?
Tap each one, or type them in “Pages to delete” separated by commas, with hyphens for ranges — for example 3, 8-12, 15.
Is my original PDF changed?
No. Your original file stays exactly as it is. You download a new copy that leaves out the deleted pages.
Why can’t I delete all pages?
A PDF must contain at least one page, so the tool keeps the delete button disabled until at least one page is left unmarked.
Is it safe to remove pages from a confidential PDF here?
Yes. The file never leaves your device; the previews and the new PDF are produced by your browser.
