Add Stamp to PDF

Place APPROVED, PAID, DRAFT, RECEIVED and other rubber stamps — or your own seal image — anywhere on a PDF.

Drop a PDF here or click to choose One PDF file · tap the page to place your stamp

Runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you enter or upload is sent to a server.

Add a stamp to a PDF — approved, paid, received or your own seal

Offices still run on stamps: an invoice marked PAID, a drawing marked APPROVED, a letter stamped RECEIVED with the date it arrived, a contract draft labelled DRAFT, or a certificate carrying a company seal. The Add Stamp to PDF tool does the same job digitally, without printing and scanning the document.

Pick a ready-made stamp — drawn as crisp vector shapes and text, not a blurry picture — set its colour, frame, size, tilt and opacity, then tap the page where it belongs and drag it into place. You can also upload your own stamp or seal as a PNG or JPG, use several stamps on one document, and repeat any stamp on every page.

All of this happens in your browser: the PDF and your seal image are never uploaded.

How to stamp a PDF

  1. Drop your PDF onto the upload area or click to choose it. The first page appears on the right.
  2. Choose a ready-made stamp (APPROVED, PAID, RECEIVED, DRAFT, CONFIDENTIAL, COPY or your own text), or switch to “Image or seal” and choose a PNG or JPG.
  3. Adjust the ink colour, frame, date, size, rotation and opacity. Choose “All pages” if the stamp should repeat on every page.
  4. Tap the page where the stamp should go. Drag it to fine-tune the position; tap a stamp to select it and change its settings, or press × to remove it.
  5. Press “Stamp PDF” and download the stamped document.

Six classic stamps plus custom text

APPROVED, PAID, RECEIVED, DRAFT, CONFIDENTIAL and COPY, or any word up to 40 characters, such as VERIFIED or ORIGINAL.

Date line

Add a date such as 08 OCT 2026 under the stamp text — pick any date, not just today.

Double, single or rounded frames, any ink colour, a tilt of up to 45° either way and adjustable opacity.

Your own seal or logo

Upload a PNG with a transparent background and the page shows through around it, just like ink.

Tap, drag and repeat

Place stamps by tapping, move them with a finger or mouse, and show any stamp on every page at the same spot.

Sharp at any zoom

Ready-made stamps are vector graphics and real text, so they print crisply and add only a few kilobytes.

Making a good seal image

  • Photograph or scan your physical stamp on plain white paper in good light, then crop it tightly with Crop Image.
  • A transparent background looks most natural. If your image has a white background, set the stamp opacity to around 85% and place it over empty space, or use a PNG editor to remove the white first.
  • Use an image at least 600 pixels wide so the seal stays sharp when printed; the tool keeps up to 1,600 pixels.
  • Round company seals usually look right at 15–25% of the page width, about 3–5 cm on A4.

Stamps, signatures and watermarks

A stamp marks the status of a document at one spot on the page. To sign a document by hand, use Sign PDF; to label every page with large, faint text across the middle, use Watermark PDF; for a line of text along the top or bottom of each page, use Add Header or Add Footer.

A stamp or seal image is a visual mark, not a cryptographic digital signature. It shows intent and status but does not prove who applied it or that the file has not changed since. Where a law or contract requires a certified digital signature, use the signing service it specifies.

Add Stamp to PDF FAQ

How do I add a stamp to a PDF?

Add your PDF, choose a stamp such as APPROVED or PAID (or upload a seal image), tap the page where it should go, drag it into place and press “Stamp PDF”. Then download the file.

Can I add a “Received” stamp with the date?

Yes. Choose RECEIVED — the date line is switched on automatically. Change the date with the date picker if the document arrived on another day.

How do I put my company seal on a PDF?

Switch to “Image or seal”, choose a PNG or JPG of your seal, then tap the page to place it. A PNG with a transparent background gives the most realistic result.

Can I stamp every page at once?

Yes. Select a stamp and choose “All pages”; it appears at the same position on every page.

Is a stamped PDF legally signed?

No. A stamp image shows status or approval but is not a digital signature. Use a certified digital signature where one is legally required.

Are my PDF and seal image uploaded?

No. Everything is processed in your browser, so both files stay on your device.
