How to use the Coupon Maker

How many coupons fit on a sheet?
Wide coupons are the size of a standard DL envelope insert, handy for mailing or tucking into orders.

Writing a coupon that gets used
- Lead with the value. The offer line is the largest text — make it the number: “₹200 OFF”, “$5 OFF”, “2 FOR 1”. Put the condition (“on orders over ₹1,000”) in the details line.
- Always include an expiry date. A deadline prompts action and limits liability; two to eight weeks is typical for a promotional coupon.
- Make the code memorable and unique per campaign (“SWEET20”, “OPENDAY”) so you can measure which handout worked. The discount calculator helps work out what a percentage costs you.
- Keep terms short and specific: one per customer, not combinable, in-store only, which locations. Two lines of small print fit on a coupon.

Can I print different codes on each coupon?
Not in this tool — every coupon on the sheet carries the same text, which is the normal case for a promotional run. For individually numbered vouchers use the raffle ticket generator, which numbers each ticket sequentially.
Does the QR code work when printed small?
Yes, at the sizes used here (up to 26 mm) a short link scans reliably. Keep the link short — a long URL produces a denser code that is harder to scan on a 90 × 50 mm coupon.
What are “love coupons” and can I make them here?
Homemade vouchers for favours — breakfast in bed, a movie night, a day without chores. Put your name as the giver, the favour as the offer, and “Redeem any time” as the expiry.
Which currency symbols print correctly?
The on-screen preview and PNG show any symbol. The PDF uses standard Latin fonts, so £, €, $ and ¢ print but ₹ appears as “?”. Write “Rs 200” or “INR 200” in the PDF, or download the PNG, which keeps ₹.
Can I save a coupon design to reuse later?
Download the PDF as your master. Settings are not stored between visits, but re-entering six short fields takes under a minute.
