A free pregnancy announcement generator
Share your news your way. This pregnancy announcement generator makes a clean, cheerful card with your headline, your names and the due date — “Coming April 2027” or the exact day — in one of five themes, sized for a square post, a phone story or status, or a printed postcard or 5 × 7 card. Switch to Birth announcement when the baby arrives to add the name, date, time and weight.
The artwork is simple drawn illustrations — moons and stars, flowers, rainbows, little footprints or confetti — and the card is drawn in your browser, so your names and dates are never uploaded. There are no fake scan pictures and no imitation social-media posts: just a card you can share anywhere or print.

When to announce, and to whom
There is no right time. Many people wait until after the first-trimester scan at around 12 weeks, when the risk of miscarriage is lower, and tell close family earlier for support. Others share straight away. If you are not sure of the date to put on the card, the due date calculator works it out from your last period, and baby size by week gives a fun comparison for a caption.
Before posting publicly, think about what you are happy for others to know: a month and year (“Coming April 2027”) shares less than an exact date, and you may prefer not to include a birth time or full name online.
Printing your card
- For a postcard or 5 × 7 card, download the PDF and print at 100% (“actual size”) on card stock, or send the PDF to a photo shop.
- The PNG is 300 dpi, so it prints sharply too; the square and story sizes are also exactly right for phone screens.
- Want monthly photo props after the birth? Use the baby milestone cards.
Pregnancy Announcement Card Maker FAQ
Is this baby announcement generator free?
Yes. Make as many cards as you like and download them as PNG or PDF, with no sign-up and no watermark.
What size is the image for sharing?
The square post is 1080 × 1080 pixels and the story/status size is 1080 × 1920 pixels — the sizes most apps use.
Can I make a birth announcement too?
Yes. Choose “Birth announcement” and add the baby’s name, date and time of birth, and weight and length.
Can I add an ultrasound photo?
This tool does not add photos or scan images; it makes an illustrated card. You can post it alongside your own photos.
Can I change the wording?
Yes. The headline, names and extra line are all free text, so you can write in any style or add a short message.
Are my details uploaded?
No. Everything is drawn in your browser and nothing is sent anywhere.
Can I use it for a big sister or big brother announcement?
Yes. Choose “Big sister / big brother”, then edit the headline — for example “Promoted to big brother” — and put the older child’s name in the names line. Many families photograph the sibling holding the printed card.
