Bible trivia questions and answers, at three levels
This Bible trivia quiz has 60 original multiple-choice questions, twenty each for kids, youth and adults. After every answer it tells you whether you were right, explains the answer and gives the verse it comes from, so the quiz teaches as well as tests. Play a round of 10, 15 or 20 questions on screen, or print a question sheet with an answer key for Sunday school, a youth group or a church quiz night.
The questions cover both Testaments — creation and the patriarchs, the exodus, judges and kings, prophets, the life of Jesus and the early church. Every answer was checked against the text of the public-domain World English Bible.

Using the quiz in a group
- Kids level suits children of about 6 to 11 who know the main Bible stories; read the questions aloud for younger ones.
- For a youth group or quiz night, project the page and let teams shout out A–D, or print one sheet per team.
- Print the sheet without the answer key for the players and a second copy with the key for the quizmaster.
- Use the missed-question review as a starting point for a short Bible study: look up each reference together.
- To make your own questions, try the trivia quiz maker; to keep reading, use the Bible reading plan generator.
How the questions were written
Each question asks about something the Bible states plainly, so the answer does not depend on a particular church’s teaching or on extra-biblical tradition. The wrong options are real names and places from the Bible, chosen to be plausible — Joseph was sold for twenty pieces of silver, Judas was paid thirty — so a guess is less likely to succeed than careful reading. Before publishing, every answer was looked up in the World English Bible and its reference recorded, and the page re-checks those references each time its automated test runs.
Sample questions
Questions follow the text of the Bible itself rather than later tradition. Names are spelled as in most modern English Bibles; where translations differ (the World English Bible says Noah built a “ship”), the explanation says so.
| Level | Question | Answer |
|---|---|---|
| Kids | What sign did God put in the clouds after the flood? | A rainbow (Genesis 9:13) |
| Youth | For how many pieces of silver did his brothers sell Joseph? | Twenty (Genesis 37:28) |
| Adults | Which king saw a hand write on the wall of his palace? | Belshazzar (Daniel 5:5) |
