Convert SVG to JPG at the size you need

An SVG is a set of drawing instructions, not a grid of pixels, so it can be rendered at any size. A JPG is the opposite: a fixed, photo-style image that every program, printer and upload form accepts. This SVG to JPG converter renders your SVG at the resolution you choose and saves it as a JPG, so a logo, chart, diagram or illustration can go where vectors aren’t welcome.

Because JPG has no transparency, every conversion gets a solid background in the colour you pick — white by default, or your brand colour. Convert several SVG files at once, paste SVG code straight from a design tool or web page, and download the JPGs individually or as a ZIP. Rendering uses your browser’s own SVG engine, and nothing is uploaded.

How to convert SVG to JPG

    1. Drop .svg files on the upload area, or open Paste SVG code instead, paste the markup and press Add this SVG. Try a sample SVG shows how it works.
    2. Choose an Output size: 1×, 2× or 4× the SVG’s own size, or Custom width and type the width in pixels.
    3. Pick a Background colour and set the JPG quality.
    4. Check the previews and sizes; press Convert again with new settings if you change anything.
    5. Download each JPG, or press Download all as ZIP.

    SVG to JPG Converter features

    Sharp at any size

The vector is redrawn at the target resolution, so edges and text stay crisp even at 4× or several thousand pixels wide.

    Smart size detection

Width and height in px, pt, mm, cm or inches are understood, and SVGs with only a viewBox are sized from it.

    Background of your choice

Transparent areas are filled with the colour you pick, so you never get an unexpected black background.

    Files or code

Convert .svg files in a batch, or paste markup copied from Figma, Illustrator, Inkscape or a website.

    Fixes common SVG problems

Missing namespace declarations, typical of SVG copied out of an HTML page, are added automatically.

    Private

SVGs are rendered locally in your browser.

    Choosing the output size

The 1× size comes from the SVG itself — its width and height attributes, or the viewBox when those are missing. 2× suits images shown on high-density phone and laptop screens, while 4× or a custom width suits print and large displays. For print, multiply the printed width in inches by 300: a logo printed 3 inches wide needs a JPG about 900 pixels wide.

Where the JPG will goSuggested width
Email newsletter or signature2× the displayed width (600 px for a 300 px logo)
Word, Google Docs or PowerPoint1500–2000 px
Marketplace listing or upload formWhat the form asks for, often 1000–2000 px
Printed flyer at 300 DPIPrinted width in inches × 300

The maximum is 8192 pixels per side, a limit browsers place on drawing surfaces. Larger requests are scaled down to fit, and the card tells you when that happens.

JPG or PNG for an SVG?

SVG artwork is usually flat colour with sharp edges — exactly the kind of image where JPG compression can leave faint smudges around lines and letters. Use JPG when it is required or when the SVG is complex and photographic, keep the quality at 90% or higher, and choose a background colour that matches where the image will sit.

If transparency matters, the SVG to PNG converter keeps it, and SVG to WebP gives small files with transparency for websites. For printing at any size without pixels at all, make a vector document with SVG to PDF.

Why an SVG can look different as a JPG

    • Fonts: text set in a web font, or a font that isn’t installed, falls back to a default font. Convert text to outlines in your design tool before exporting the SVG.
    • Linked images: browsers block images and fonts loaded from other websites when they draw an SVG as an image. Embed them in the SVG instead.
    • Page styles: inline SVG copied from a website may rely on the site’s CSS for its colours. Add fill and stroke attributes, or a <style> block, inside the SVG.
    • Scripts and animation: scripts and embedded HTML are ignored, and animated SVGs are captured in their starting state.

    SVG to JPG Converter FAQ

How do I convert SVG to JPG with a white background?

Drop the SVG here and leave “Background colour” on white. Every transparent part of the SVG becomes white in the JPG.

How do I get a high-resolution JPG from an SVG?

Choose 4×, or “Custom width” and enter the width you need, up to 8192 pixels. The vector is redrawn at that size, so the JPG stays sharp.

Can I convert SVG code without saving a file?

Yes. Open “Paste SVG code instead”, paste the full <svg> … </svg> markup and press “Add this SVG”.

Why is there a coloured background instead of transparency?

JPG can’t store transparency, so transparent areas are always filled. Use PNG or WebP if you need a see-through background.

Why is the text in my JPG in the wrong font?

The SVG uses a font that isn’t available to the browser while rendering. Outline the text in your design software or install the font, then convert again.

Is SVG to JPG conversion free and private?

It is free with no limits or watermarks, and your SVGs are converted inside your browser without being uploaded.
