Turn a .pptx presentation into a PDF with one slide per page — previewed and converted in your browser.

Hidden slides

Runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you enter or upload is sent to a server.

Convert PowerPoint to PDF right in your browser

The PowerPoint to PDF converter turns a .pptx presentation into a PDF with one slide per page. Drop in your deck, check every slide in the preview, choose the quality and download a PDF that opens the same way on any phone, laptop or printer — no PowerPoint needed on the other end.

Your slides are drawn inside your browser by the open-source pptx-preview engine and captured at up to 2,880 pixels wide. Unlike most online converters, the file is never uploaded to a server, which matters for board decks, pitch decks, lecture slides and anything else that is not meant to be public.

Be aware of how this works: each slide is stored in the PDF as a high-resolution picture. That makes the PDF look exactly like the preview, but the text in it can’t be selected or searched, and the browser’s drawing of a slide can differ from PowerPoint’s in places — always check the preview.

How to use the PowerPoint to PDF

  1. Drop a .pptx file onto the upload area or click it to choose one. The slides appear in the preview.
  2. Scroll through the preview. Hidden slides are shown faded and are left out unless you tick “Include hidden slides”.
  3. Optionally type which slides to include, for example 1-10, 14.
  4. Choose the quality — High (1920 px wide) suits screens and most printing.
  5. Press “Convert to PDF”. The PDF downloads with one slide per page at the deck’s own size.

PowerPoint to PDF features

Real slide rendering

Backgrounds, theme colours, text boxes, shapes, pictures, tables and many charts are drawn from the .pptx itself.

Preview before you save

Every slide is shown first, so you know exactly what the PDF will contain.

Hidden slides handled

Like PowerPoint’s own export, hidden slides are skipped by default — tick one box to include them.

Correct page size

PDF pages match the slide size: 16:9, 4:3 or a custom size, in landscape or portrait.

Three quality levels

From compact files for email to sharp 2880-pixel slides for large screens and print.

Private

No upload, no account and no watermark — the conversion happens on your own device.

What converts well, and what may differ

Slide contentResult
Text, titles, bullet listsDrawn with the fonts installed on your device; missing fonts are substituted
Pictures, shapes, backgrounds, themesUsually very close to PowerPoint
Tables and simple chartsSupported; complex chart styles may look simpler
SmartArt, WordArt effects, 3D, equationsMay be simplified or missing
Animations, transitions, video, audioNot included — a PDF shows each slide’s final static state
Speaker notesNot included

Old .ppt files and other formats

This page reads the modern .pptx format (PowerPoint 2007 and later). An old .ppt file from PowerPoint 97–2003 has its own page, PPT to PDF, which runs LibreOffice inside your browser; OpenDocument presentations can be converted with ODP to PPTX first. Keynote users can choose File → Export To → PowerPoint. Google Slides can also download a PDF directly via File → Download → PDF document.

If you need selectable, searchable text in the PDF, PowerPoint’s own File → Save As → PDF is the best option; this tool is for when you don’t have PowerPoint to hand or want to keep the file on your device.

PowerPoint to PDF FAQ

How do I convert PowerPoint to PDF for free?

Drop your .pptx file above, check the preview and press “Convert to PDF”. The PDF downloads straight away — no sign-up, no watermark.

Is my presentation uploaded anywhere?

No. The slides are drawn and captured by JavaScript in your browser, and the PDF is created on your device.

Can I select the text in the PDF?

No. Each slide is saved as a high-resolution picture so it looks the same everywhere. For a text-based PDF, use Save As → PDF in PowerPoint or download as PDF from Google Slides.

Why does a slide look slightly different from PowerPoint?

The slides are drawn by a browser-based renderer, which uses the fonts on your device and may simplify effects such as SmartArt, 3D or unusual chart styles. Check the preview before converting.

Can I convert an old .ppt file?

Not directly. Save it as .pptx in PowerPoint, LibreOffice Impress or Google Slides first, then convert the .pptx here.

Are hidden slides included?

Not by default, matching PowerPoint’s own PDF export. Tick “Include hidden slides” to add them.
