Titles

Template ideas

Titles are written in your browser — by your browser’s built-in AI or by an open model that downloads to this device only after you agree — or built from templates with no AI at all. Your topic and draft are never sent to this site.

An AI title generator that checks its own work

This AI title generator writes titles and headlines for blog posts, news articles, YouTube videos, podcast episodes, email subject lines and landing pages. Give it a topic or your draft, plus an optional audience and benefit, and you get a list to copy, regenerate one by one, save or export as CSV.

Every title is then checked by plain code: width in pixels for search results, length for YouTube and email, where the keyword sits, power words, clichés, clickbait, ALL CAPS, and any number that wasn’t in your details — small models like to promise “7 tips” for a post that has five. AI titles are labelled AI draft — check facts.

The writing happens on your device: your browser’s built-in AI (Chrome’s Prompt API) or IBM’s open Granite 4.0 Nano model (Apache-2.0), downloaded only after you agree. Without either, a seeded template bank written for this page still gives you ten starting points.

    How to generate titles

    1. Type the Topic or main idea; optionally a Main keyword, an Audience and a Main benefit that starts with a verb (“cut kitchen waste”), or open Or paste your draft.
    2. Choose what the title is for: blog post, news article, YouTube video, podcast episode, email subject or landing page.
    3. Tick the Styles and choose How many and the Language.
    4. Press Write titles with AI. If a model must be downloaded, the page asks first; “Not now” gives template ideas instead. Template ideas skips AI altogether.
    5. Read the notes under each title, press ↻ to replace one and ☆ to keep one, then Copy all, CSV or TXT.

    AI Title Generator features

    Six targets, three languages

Blog, news, YouTube, podcast, email and landing-page modes with their own length checks, in English, Hinglish and Hindi.

    Pixel meter for search titles

Measured in 20 px Arial with the canvas API against the commonly quoted 600 px desktop width, with the likely cut point shown.

    Honesty checks

New numbers, clickbait, clichés, ALL CAPS and repeated punctuation are flagged; the AI is told to write [N] rather than guess a number.

    Keyword and power-word notes

Whether your keyword comes early, late, split up or not at all, plus a count from this page’s own power-word list — a hint, not a ranking factor.

    Regenerate one, keep favourites

↻ replaces one title (by AI, or by the next template of the same style); favourites stay in this browser, and a seed makes template lists repeatable.

Worked example: the seeded template list

With the page’s default details — topic “home composting”, audience “beginners”, benefit “cut kitchen waste”, Blog post, all six styles, English, seed 1 — the template bank returns these five titles first, one per style:

    • Title 2 is flagged “5 isn’t in your details — make sure it’s true”: the template chose the number, so keep it only if the post has five tips.
    • Titles 4 and 5 get “Keyword later in the title” — a nudge, not an error.
    • As Email subject, the same details give “Your step-by-step plan for home composting” and “Can home composting help you cut kitchen waste?”.
    1. Home Composting for Beginners: A Step-by-Step Guide (how-to)
    2. 5 Home Composting Tips for Beginners (list)
    3. Is Home Composting Worth It? (question)
    4. What Changes When You Start Home Composting (curiosity)
    5. A Practical Guide to Home Composting for Beginners (benefit)

How long should a title be?

Google’s guide to title links (Search Central, updated 10 December 2025) says there is no limit on the length of a <title> element; the title link is “truncated in Google Search results as needed, typically to fit the device width”. That is why this page measures pixels instead of counting characters. The 600 px figure is the width most often quoted for desktop results — not a number Google publishes — and usually works out at 55–65 characters of English.

    AI drafts versus template ideas

    • AI drafts come from a small model on your device. They can use your draft and be more specific, but can also invent numbers or overpromise — hence the label and the checks.
    • Template ideas come from 30 English patterns (18 for email, 12 each in Hinglish and Hindi) written for this page. A pattern whose slot you left empty is skipped, never half-filled.
    • Google also asks for descriptive, concise titles, one distinct title per page and no keyword stuffing. For title tags ranked against a keyword, use the SEO Title Generator; for YouTube A/B pairs, the YouTube Title Generator; for the text under a result, the AI Meta Description Generator.

    AI Title Generator FAQ

Is this AI title generator free and private?

Yes — no sign-up, no limit. Titles are written by your browser’s built-in AI or the open Granite model on your device; your topic and draft are not sent to this site.

Why does it say a number isn’t in my details?

A title such as “7 tips…” makes a specific promise. Every number in a title is compared with the numbers you typed or pasted, and new ones are flagged so you can match the title to your content.

How many characters should a blog title have?

Google sets no character limit and cuts titles by width. About 600 px on desktop — roughly 55–65 characters — is the commonly quoted range, so the meter measures pixels.

    What are power words?

Words such as “easy”, “proven” or “mistakes” that people associate with clickable headlines. They are counted from this page’s own list as a hint; they don’t make a title rank.

Can it write Hindi or Hinglish titles?

Yes. Templates come from separate Hinglish and Hindi sets, and the AI is asked to write in that language. Chrome’s built-in AI handles English, Spanish and Japanese, so Hindi uses the open model.

What if I don’t want to download a model?

Press “Not now” in the download box, or use Template ideas. You get labelled template titles straight away and nothing is downloaded.
