One line per QR: amount, note, reference. Leave the amount empty for an open amount. The UPI ID and payee name above are used for every line.

Payment links and QR codes are standard UPI “intent” strings; the money goes straight to your bank through the payer’s UPI app — this tool never handles payments. Some apps limit links with a prefilled amount to personal UPI IDs; a QR scanned in the app is the most reliable. Informational tool, not financial advice.

Runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you enter or upload is sent to a server.

UPI payment link generator with QR code and printable card

This UPI payment link generator turns your UPI ID into a payment link — the standard upi://pay “intent” that opens Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM or any bank’s UPI app with your details filled in. Add your name, an optional fixed amount, a note and a reference, and you get the link, a QR code, a printable payment card as a PDF, and — for shops, events or invoices — a ZIP of many QR codes at once.

The UPI ID is checked as you type, amounts are limited to two decimals, and the link is built in the order and encoding UPI apps expect. The QR code is generated in your browser with an open-source library; nothing is uploaded and no payment ever passes through this page — the payer’s app sends money straight to your bank account.

It is a free utility, not a payment service, and not financial advice. Always test a new link or QR with a small payment before printing hundreds.

How to use the UPI Payment Link Generator

  1. Type your UPI ID (for example 9876543210@ybl) and the payee name your bank shows.
  2. Choose Fixed amount and enter it, or Payer enters it for an open amount.
  3. Add an optional note (“Order 42”) and a transaction reference to match payments to invoices.
  4. Copy or share the link, download the QR as PNG, or make a Payment card (PDF) on A6, A4 or Letter.
  5. For many codes, open Bulk mode, paste lines of amount, note and reference, and download the ZIP.

What is inside a UPI payment link

The example builds upi://pay?pa=asha.stores@okaxis&pn=Asha%20Stores&am=499.50&cu=INR&tn=Order%2042&tr=INV-2026-001. These are the parameters of NPCI’s UPI linking specification; merchant accounts can add more (such as a merchant code), which this tool does not set.

Tips for links and QR codes that work

  • A link only opens on a phone with a UPI app. On a computer, show the QR code instead.
  • Some apps restrict prefilled amounts or references for personal (non-merchant) UPI IDs and may ask the payer to confirm or type the amount. A QR scanned inside the app is the most reliable.
  • Print the QR at least 3 cm wide and keep the white border; test it with two different apps.
  • Keep notes short and plain — some apps truncate long notes.
  • For invoices, put the reference in both the link and the bill, and generate the invoice with the invoice generator.

UPI Payment Link Generator FAQ

How do I create a UPI payment link?

Enter your UPI ID, name and (optionally) an amount and note. The UPI payment link generator builds the upi://pay link, which you can copy, share or turn into a QR code.

Is it safe to share my UPI payment link?

A payment link only lets people pay you; it cannot take money out. Never share your UPI PIN — nobody needs it to pay you.

Why doesn’t the link open on my computer?

upi:// links open UPI apps, which run on phones. On a laptop, show or print the QR code and let the payer scan it.

Can the payer change the amount?

With “Payer enters it” there is no amount in the link and they type it. With a fixed amount, most apps show it locked; behaviour varies by app.

Does this tool charge a fee or see my payments?

No. It is free and runs in your browser; payments go directly from the payer’s bank to yours through UPI.

How many QR codes can I make in bulk?

Up to 500 per ZIP, each named by its reference or note, with a links.csv listing every link.
