Fantasy points from your own scoring table

This fantasy points calculator multiplies each stat by the points your league awards and adds them up for up to three players at once. Pick a starter table for cricket, football (soccer), American football, basketball or Australian rules, or choose a blank custom table, then change any points each value to match your league. The result and a stat-by-stat breakdown update as you type.

Every league scores differently, so the starter values are illustrative examples rather than any platform's official table; always copy your own league's rules into the second column. Pair it with the batting average calculator and the cricket strike rate calculator when you are weighing up players.

How to use the Fantasy Points Calculator

  1. Choose a starter scoring table or Custom table, and name up to three players.
  2. Edit the points each column to your league's values. Use negative numbers for penalties such as an interception or a red card.
  3. Type each player's count for every stat: yards, runs, goals, catches, whatever the table lists.
  4. Read the total for each player and the line-by-line breakdown to see where the points came from.

Fantasy Points Calculator features

Fully editable scoring

Every stat name and every points-each value can be changed, with decimals such as 0.04 per yard and negatives for penalties.

Five starter tables

Cricket, football, American football, basketball and Australian rules, each a sensible starting point rather than an official rule set.

Compare three players

Three count columns give three totals side by side with the leader highlighted.

Clear breakdown

A table shows count × points for each stat so a surprising total is easy to trace.

No odds or predictions

It adds up points you already know; it does not forecast results or take bets.

How fantasy points are calculated

Fantasy points are a weighted sum: points = Σ (count × points each). In American football with 0.04 points per passing yard, 4 per passing touchdown and −2 per interception, a quarterback with 285 yards, two touchdowns and one interception scores 285 × 0.04 + 2 × 4 − 2 = 17.4. Bonus rows, such as a half-century in cricket or a double-double in basketball, are just stats with their own count of 0 or 1.

Rounding and the way yardage is credited differ between leagues, so the tool keeps full precision for each row and shows totals to two decimals. If your league rounds each stat or the total, apply that rule yourself.

SportTypical scoring ideasWhere it varies
CricketRuns, boundaries, milestones, wickets, catchesBonuses for strike rate or economy
American footballYards, touchdowns, receptionsPoints per reception (0, 0.5 or 1)
BasketballPoints, rebounds, assists, steals, blocksTurnover penalties, bonus stats
Australian rulesKicks, handballs, marks, tackles, goalsWeights of each disposal

Using it well

Check the scoring page of your own league and type the values in before comparing players: a reception is worth a full point in some leagues and nothing in others, which changes who looks best. The starter tables were chosen for this tool as examples (checked 24 October 2026 only for internal consistency), and no platform names or official tables are used. This is for friendly leagues and learning, not betting advice. When two players look close, check the breakdown table: a single large bonus, such as a century or a long touchdown, can account for most of a total, and some leagues cap or round bonuses in ways a plain multiply-and-add cannot show. If your league uses positional multipliers, a captain who scores double or a vice-captain at one and a half times, apply that multiplier to the total shown here.

Fantasy Points Calculator FAQ

How do I calculate fantasy points?

Multiply each stat by the points your league gives for it and add the results. This calculator does that for up to three players with your own point values.

Does it use the official scoring of a fantasy platform?

No. The starter tables are examples. Copy your league's rules into the points-each column for exact results.

How do I score fantasy cricket points?

Choose the cricket table, then set points for runs, fours, sixes, wickets, catches and any bonuses to match your league's rules, and enter the player's match stats.

Can I use negative points?

Yes. Type a minus sign, for example −2 for an interception thrown, a duck or a red card.

Can I add my own stats?

Pick Custom table and type any stat name and its points. The starter tables have extra rows you can rename too.

Does it predict who will score the most?

No. It only adds up the stat lines you enter and gives no odds or projections.
