Arithmetic, not a forecast: it assumes today’s circulating supply. New coins from unlocks, mining or staking rewards lower the price at any given market cap. Not investment advice.

What would a coin be worth at a given market cap?

A coin’s market capitalisation is its price multiplied by its circulating supply. Turn that round and you get the price it would have at any market cap: price = market cap ÷ circulating supply. This crypto market cap calculator does that arithmetic three ways: the price at a market cap you type, the price your coin would have if it had another coin’s market cap, and the market cap a target price implies.

It also shows the multiple from today’s price, the fully diluted value (FDV) when you enter the maximum supply, and a table of prices at round market caps from 100 million to 5 trillion. You type every number, so it works for any coin or token, and nothing is fetched.

This is arithmetic, not a price prediction. It assumes today’s circulating supply and says nothing about whether any market cap is likely. Not investment advice.

How to use the Crypto Market Cap Calculator

  1. Pick what to work out: price at a market cap, another coin’s market cap, or market cap at a price.
  2. Enter the circulating supply; optionally the current price (for the multiple) and the max or total supply (for FDV).
  3. Type the target market cap with its unit, the other coin’s price and circulating supply, or a target price.
  4. Read the price or market cap, the change from today and the round-number table.
  5. Copy the result if you want to share the sum.

Crypto Market Cap Calculator features

Three directions

Market cap → price, another coin’s cap → price, and price → market cap.

Fully diluted value

Price × max supply, and the circulating share of the max supply.

Round-number table

Prices at eleven market caps with the multiple from today.

Tiny prices handled

Prices below a cent keep their significant digits, e.g. $0.00008489.

Five currencies

US dollar, USDT, rupee, pound and euro display.

Formulas and a worked example

Market cap = price × circulating supply, so price = market cap ÷ circulating supply and multiple = target price ÷ current price. FDV = price × maximum supply.

Example: a token with 10 billion coins circulating trades at $0.50, a $5 billion market cap. At a $50 billion market cap it would be $50 bn ÷ 10 bn = $5.00, ten times today. If 20 billion coins will eventually exist, the fully diluted value at $5 would be $100 billion.

Comparison example: if another coin has 19.9 million coins at $100,000, its market cap is $1.99 trillion. Your 10-billion-coin token with that market cap would be $199.

Circulating, total and max supply

Circulating supply is what is tradable now; market-data sites use it for market cap. Total supply includes coins created but locked, and max supply is the hard cap, if the protocol has one (Bitcoin’s is 21 million). Many tokens release locked coins over months or years; each unlock increases the circulating supply, so the same market cap means a lower price. Read the project’s published emission and vesting schedule before comparing.

Why market cap comparisons mislead

  • Market cap is not money invested. It is the last price times all coins; thin trading can push it far from what sellers could actually receive.
  • Supply changes. Inflation, burns and unlocks move the circulating supply.
  • Different coins, different jobs. A coin reaching a rival’s market cap needs demand, not just arithmetic.

Crypto Market Cap Calculator FAQ

How do you calculate the price from market cap?

Divide the market cap by the circulating supply. A $50 billion market cap with 10 billion coins circulating is $5 per coin.

How do I compare a coin with another coin’s market cap?

Choose “Another coin’s market cap”, enter that coin’s price and circulating supply, and the calculator divides its market cap by your coin’s supply.

Is this a crypto price prediction calculator?

No. It shows what the price would be at a market cap you choose. It does not estimate whether that market cap will happen.

What is fully diluted valuation?

The price multiplied by the maximum (or total) supply: the market cap if every coin that can exist were circulating.

Where do I find circulating supply?

On the project’s own documentation or a market-data site. Check the date, since it changes with unlocks and rewards.

Is this investment advice?

No. It is a calculator for arithmetic only.
