Google stopped showing FAQ rich results on 7 May 2026, so this markup won’t add drop-downs under your search result. It is still valid schema.org, Google says it can stay on the page, and a clear on-page FAQ still helps readers. For other schema types, use the Schema Markup Generator.

FAQs are written in your browser — by its built-in AI or by an open model that downloads to this device only after you agree — or extracted from your text with no AI. The page text you paste is never sent to this site.

An AI FAQ generator whose answers come from your page

This AI FAQ generator turns the text of a page — a course, an event, a service, a product, a policy — into question-and-answer pairs you can put at the bottom of that page. Questions can be phrased the way people type them into search (“How much does … cost?”), and every answer is meant to come from what your page already says.

That last part is checked rather than trusted. For each answer, the page looks at every sentence and asks: are its words in your text, and are its numbers? Sentences that fail are highlighted and listed, so an AI answer that invents “a 15% group discount” can’t slip through. Without AI, the page builds the FAQ by extraction — each answer is a sentence copied from your text — so it is grounded by construction.

Everything runs in your browser: its built-in AI or IBM’s open Granite 4.0 Nano model (downloaded only after you agree). Export the result as HTML <details> blocks, Markdown, or FAQPage JSON-LD that is validated on the spot.

How to generate an FAQ from your page

    1. Paste the Page text — the more specific facts it holds (prices, times, rules), the better the questions. No text yet? Type a Topic only and you get questions with answers to fill in.
    2. Set the Topic or page name used in the questions, How many questions, the Answer length, the Language and whether to use “People also ask” phrasing.
    3. Press Write FAQs with AI, or Extract from text for an instant FAQ with no AI.
    4. Check the % grounded meter and any highlighted sentence. Press ↻ to replace a question, ☆ to keep it.
    5. Choose an Export format, then copy or download the code.

    AI FAQ Generator features

    Grounding check on every answer

Each answer sentence is compared with your text — content words and numbers — and anything not found is highlighted and listed.

    Extraction without AI

A cue list written for this page spots prices, times, places, group sizes, what’s included, cancellation rules, age limits and more, and uses your own sentence as the answer.

    Questions you already wrote

Lines in your text that end in a question mark, followed by their answer, are kept exactly as you wrote them.

    Three exports

Accessible HTML <details>/<summary> blocks that need no JavaScript, Markdown, and FAQPage JSON-LD with </script>-safe escaping.

    JSON-LD validation

Checks @context, @type, a non-empty mainEntity, every Question’s name and Answer text, repeated questions and leftover placeholders.

Worked example: the pottery workshop page

The sample page describes a weekend pottery workshop in seven short paragraphs. With 8 questions, “People also ask” phrasing and seed 1, extraction gives questions such as:

    • What is the fee for the weekend pottery workshop? The fee is ₹2,500 per person, which includes clay, tools, an apron and firing.
    • Can I get a refund if I cancel the weekend pottery workshop? If you cancel at least 48 hours before the class, we refund the full fee. Later cancellations can move to another date once.
    • How many people join each session of the weekend pottery workshop? Each session has at most 8 students, so the instructor can help everyone at the wheel.

Why the example looks the way it does

The refund answer takes two sentences because the second continues the same rule in the same paragraph. All eight answers score 100 % grounded — they are your own sentences. Questions that would reuse an answer already given (“Where…?” is answered by the same sentence as “When…?”) are moved to the end of the list, after every question that has an answer of its own. With the AI, ask for the same eight and compare: if a sentence turns amber, it is not supported by your page.

Do FAQ rich results still exist?

No. Google limited FAQ rich results to well-known government and health websites in August 2023, then stopped showing them for all sites on 7 May 2026, and removed the documentation in June 2026 (Google Search Central documentation changelog, entries of 8 May and 15 June 2026). Google says FAQ structured data can stay on your pages without causing problems — it just won’t produce the expandable answers in Google Search.

So add FAQPage JSON-LD only if you want it for other tools that read schema.org; write the FAQ itself for people. A short, honest FAQ answers real questions before they reach your inbox, and a plain <details> list works on every page. For other structured data, use the Schema Markup Generator; to plan a whole post with an FAQ section, the AI Blog Outline Generator.

How do I make an FAQ from my website content?

Paste the page text into this AI FAQ generator and press Extract from text for an instant, fully grounded FAQ, or Write FAQs with AI for more natural answers — then check the % grounded meter on each one.

Will FAQ schema give me rich results in Google?

Not any more. Google stopped showing FAQ rich results on 7 May 2026. The markup is still valid schema.org and can stay on the page, but it won’t change how your result looks in Google.

What does “not found in your text” mean?

A sentence in the answer uses words or numbers that don’t appear in the text you pasted. It may still be true, but it didn’t come from your page — check it, or delete it.

How many questions should an FAQ have?

Enough to cover what people really ask, usually five to ten. Each answer should start with the direct answer in a sentence or two.

Can it write FAQs in Hindi?

Yes. Choose हिन्दी or Hinglish: extracted questions use Hindi or Hinglish wording around your own sentences, and the AI writes in that language (Hindi runs on the open model).

Is my page text uploaded anywhere?

No. Extraction, the grounding check and the AI all run on your device; only the open model’s files are downloaded, once, after you agree.
